The latest drop from JW Anderson is a masterclass in fashion and function. Designing on the edge of creativity, the latest collab sees the designer using super tactile felt materials to transform the Chuck Taylor 70 high top into a groundbreaking new sneaker style.

Utilising the unmistakably iconic silhouette of Converse Chucks, JW Anderson mixes the heritage high top style with the futuristic and playful texture of felt, creating a visually interesting sneaker that’s lightweight and hardwearing. Drawing from their previously successful Converse campaigns, like the recent ‘Toy’ collection, JW Anderson uses high impact fluoros, military khakis and muted sky-blues to keep the raw and innovative textures playful and in-style. Like previous collaborations, there’s a clear objective to keep the designs fun yet practical. Ensuring that it’s not texture overload, the raw and unfiltered felt elements are balanced out by sharp and angular laser-cut logos, and a set of tonal or black fabric laces ground the style, giving it form and structure.
