All Star Pro BB brings fire to the game

Back, but like never before.

The highly-anticipated All Star Pro BB has landed and is now available in Australia and New Zealand.

Converse and legendary Nike innovator Eric Avar have collaborated to engineer the All Star Pro BB – an elite basketball shoe designed for the modern, multi-directional basketball player. Featuring an ultra-light mid-top with the mobility of a low top, Converse’s iconic single-layer upper and minimal sole is fused with Nike’s innovative React foam to create a soft, dynamic and responsive feel on court.

The All Star Pro BB represents the best of Converse style and Nike performance, so that you can change the game through your own style and play.

A flame colourway and popped laces will draw attention on court, bringing fire to the game. This is the future generation of basketball performance sneakers, in flaming hot prints.

Paying homage to Converse’s first-ever signature shoe – the Chuck Taylor All Star – the All Star Pro BB contains a minimalistic All Star patch, diamond pattern outsole, as well as foxing tape and pinstripe on the midsole.

The REACT drop-in midsole provides elite-level comfort and a springy response when jumping and cutting. All while a quad-axial woven upper for dimensional stability and responsive lockdown, delivers high-impact resistance during pivotal moments of play.

The on-court shoe won’t just be available in the piping hot Flame colourway either.

To celebrate the beginning of the NBA season and the re-introduction of Converse’s historic Pro Leather silhouette for the street, a white and red colourway will also be available in the All Star Pro BB.

The Pro Leather is one of basketball’s iconic shoes and a true classic within the Converse archive.

First introduced in 1976 and worn by the likes of Julius Erving, aka Dr. J, on the pro court in the 70s & 80s, the simple yet structured leather silhouette has been reissued on select occasions through the years to celebrate iconic on-court moments.

The All Star Pro BB in Flame will be available from 10:00am on Thursday 24 October online at converse.com.au and Converse Emporium (VIC) and Sylvia Park (NZ).

The Opening Night pack, containing the All Star Pro BB and a Classic Pro Leather will also be available from 10:00am on Thursday 24 October online only at converse.com.au.
