Calligraffiti Upside Down Tour
Hitting our shores in the coming weeks is the Calligraffiti Upside Down Tour, supported by Converse. Niels Shoe Meulman (NSM) is the Dutch artist behind it all, earning his stripes in the global graffiti scene in the 80’s through his pioneering style. His book, Calligraffiti, the Graphic Art of Niels Shoe Meulman is a showcase of this unique style of writing, which combines masterful calligraphy skills with the speed and attitude of graffiti.
The Calligraffiti Upside Down Tour includes exhibitions, book signings, live mural painting and lectures, kicking off in Sydney and continuing in Melbourne, Auckland and Singapore. Rather than ship artwork from abroad, NSM will make site-specific art in each city.
