Converse has brought together three extraordinary musicians from different genres to form a unique collaboration known as Three Artists. One Song. The nucleus of this initiative is a brand new, all original track featuring Bethany Cosentino of Best Coast, Rostam Batmanglij of Vampire Weekend and Kid Cudi. Rostam Batmanglij is the multi-instrumentalist/vocalist in Vampire Weekend. The band's songwriter and producer, his eclectic contribution is key to the band's original sound.
Kid Cudi is a Brooklyn-based rapper from Cleveland whose debut single, "Day 'n' Nite", became an online favorite in 2008. His short film explores his life, and the influencesthat make him one of today's most pioneering artists.
Bethany Cosentino is a Los Angeles native who stayed briefly in Brooklyn, and Best Coast's music reflects a West Coast vibe mixed with an East Coast 60s girl group sound.
