Hitting our shores in the coming weeks is the Calligraffiti Upside Down Tour, supported by Converse. Niels Shoe Meulman (NSM) is the Dutch artist behind it all, earning his stripes in the global graffiti scene in the 80’s through his pioneering style. His book, Calligraffiti, the Graphic Art of Niels Shoe Meulman is a showcase of this unique style of writing which combines masterful calligraphy skills with the speed and attitude of graffiti.

The Calligraffiti Upside Down Tour includes exhibitions, book signings, live mural painting and lectures, kicking off in Sydney and continuing in Melbourne, Auckland and Singapore. Rather than ship artwork from abroad, NSM will make site-specific art in each city.

We have collaborated with Italian fashion house Missoni again, bringing an update to earlier collections and a follow-up to the raschel knit shoe which released earlier this month. The result is a classic hi-top Chuck Taylor All Star silhouette with Missoni's signature space-dyed knit in warm, earthy hues. Soft, black leather detailing feature on the tongue, heel tab and lining with black laces and a leather toe cap to complete the premium finish.


As part of Converse First String, the Missoni for Converse Chuck Taylor All Star shoe is a limited release with just 36 pairs available throughout Australia. Releasing on Saturday October 1st, it retails for AUD$180.

Alongside the newest Padded Collar arrival at Foot Locker stores, comes the film 'Threads' which explores the street art phenomenon of Yarning. This non-destructive and eco-friendly street movement combines traditional craft with guerrilla street art.

We have collaborated with Hong Kong based clothing label CLOT for the second time to feature the all-new Chuck Taylor "Handshake" collection.

The collection comprises of two low tops, which subtly reflect the signature style of the CLOT label. The result is a unique take on the Chuck Taylor All Star shoe, crafted in premium black canvas, or soft grey suede with an interesting combination of gum and white rubber toe-bumpers.

From this Friday, the Converse X CLOT collection will be available from Espionage store in Sydney, retailing for AUD$120. As part of Converse First String, the collection is a limited release with just 43 pairs of each available.
